Paradise Road Farm Stay is nestled on 100 rolling acres just outside Sheffield in Northern Tasmania. The farm is on the main road to Cradle Mountain making it a convenient base to visit Cradle Mountain and surrounds.
Farm stay accommodation was completed in August 2020 and includes two bespoke designed cabins featuring stunning views of Mt Roland.
If this sounds like your ideal getaway location, start planning your itinerary.
Many guests choose a minimum two night stay on the farm. This gives you one full day in the area. For most people the day will include a visit to the iconic Cradle Mountain World Heritage area. To enjoy what the National Park has to offer (even if you are not an avid hiker) you should allow the whole day.
A three or four night itinerary allows time to relax and explore both the farm and what our region has to offer. A longer stay also provides flexibility around inclement weather and your trip to Cradle Mountain (particularly if you are planning a summit attempt).
Recommended activities for additional days include a visit to Mole Creek (where you can view glow worm caves and meet Tassie devils at Trowunna Wildlife Park), adventure activities such as canyoning, horse riding or mountain bike riding on the Wild Mersey Trails (regular and e-mountain bikes are available to hire in Sheffield) as well as time for food and wine experiences including winter truffle foraging adventures and visits to local distilleries, breweries, wineries and cider makers (check out the Tasting Trail Tasmania for more information)
